I, the Submitter, hereby grant Reel Author Tammy Gross (& other associates under Establishing Shot, LLC) the right to read, evaluate, edit &/or convert the Submission (manuscript, screenplay &/or other material accompanying this online order) per the terms laid out in this order.

As Owner, Legal Representative (Manager or Agent), Author or Co-author of the Submission, I acknowledge that I have full power & authority to make this Submission, binding me, my collaborators, agents, heirs, successors, licensees & assigns to the terms & conditions herein.
I know I should use protection.
I acknowledge that Reel Author recommends that I copyright my Submission with the United States Copyright Office &/or register it with the Writer's Guild of America prior to submitting for evaluation, & I hereby release Reel Author from any claims that may arise from my failure to do so.
Reel Author is only human.
Reel Author will make efforts to meet and exceed my expectations, which are clearly stated in the order form. This is a service by humans for humans. In editing, there may be errors introduced or minor misunderstandings that arise. In story evaluations, there may be differences of opinion. In formatting, Reel Author makes recommendations based on current industry trends, which may not align with my understanding of formatting. Reel Author does not offer refunds for disagreements in opinions or time already spent, but will make every human effort to settle any disputes. If there is no meeting of the minds, we agree to part amicably and move on.
Reel Author is not in the idea-stealing business.
I hereby release Reel Author from any and all claims, liabilities and demands which may assert that similar or identical material, stories, themes, formats, ideas &/or concepts have been appropriated from the Submission, or any portion thereof.
Reel Author is not a blabber mouth.
Because my story is not yet in the market, I expect Reel Author to keep any identifying details about my story in silent confidence until such time that either the story is made public or that I express written approval to share details.
No strings attached.
I attest that no confidential relationship is established by submitting this material to Reel Author. I understand that Reel Author is under no obligation other than to provide service for this Submission.

I would never send NC-17 or X-rated material to anyone without warning! Explicit, graphic imagery is just as unacceptable on the page as it is in a theater. I agree not to "show" extreme nudity, use the "c" word in every scene or describe sexual acts in detail. If my script crosses the line in this or any other objectional way in Reel Author's opinion, I accept that work may need to cease before completion until such time that I can make suggested changes or decide to cancel. I understand that this may result in delays that may affect rush work, but any prepaid time not used will be refunded.

I hereby acknowledge that I retain the original copy of the Submission, & I release Reel Author from any loss or liability related to the Submission copy.
